An interest in history, art and architecture developed my love of travel. I remember as a young child being so intrigued with a book on London that my parents brought back from a trip. Seeing the pictures of Westminster Abbey and the Beefeaters at the Tower of London, I realized that I had to see these things for myself one day.
During college I was fortunate to travel to Europe several times… and was seriously bitten by the travel bug. After graduating from the University of Kentucky with a degree in Art History, I spent four months backpacking throughout Asia. Shortly thereafter I began my career as a travel agent in 1996.
I truly believe that travel enables us to learn about ourselves as much as we learn about other cultures. A few experiences that are the most memorable include eating street food in Siem Reap, making new friends at a pub in Belfast, riding a camel in Wadi Rum and opening the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel with the keyholder – these adventures are some of what I value most.
I love to help clients design their ideal trip so that they can have the experiences that they will treasure for a lifetime!
